NYC Marathon 1983


The main pack chasing the leaders at 4 miles...the pack included John Graham -GBR(3), Domingo Tibaduiza-Col (30)
Gerardo Alcala (Mex) in red, Tony Sandoval -USA (6), Marzack (Pol), Ron Tabb (4), Rod Dixon (NZL), Rudy Chapa (C57) among others.



The leaders at 4 miles were: Antonio Villanueva (Mex)- a master runner, Gidamis Shahanga (Tan)
Santiago De La Parte (Spain, in blue) and Desmond O'Connor (in red); The 4 mile split was 19:10.
